We asked and you answered. The Friends raised over $35,000 on Give Miami Day this year - our best ever! Over 350 people donated to rank us 6th amongst 1,000 small charities in Miami-Dade. 

Our impact can be felt across the Miami-Dade Public Library. Recent programs funded by the Friends, include:

• Climate of Art: Promoting awareness of environmental degradation in South Florida through art and community engagement.
• Garden of Eating: Encouraging healthy eating habits through hands-on gardening activities.
• Healthy Afternoon Snacks: Providing nutritious snacks to promote well-being during library programs.
• DIY Japanese Candy Kits Program: Engaging patrons in fun and creative culinary experiences.
• Strive 305 Small Business Expo: Supporting local entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth.
• Summer Reading Prizes: Motivating young readers to explore new books and develop a love for reading.
