The Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library invites you to join our Giving Circle, a circle of supporters whose annual dedicated gifts, made specifically to the Giving Circle, are helping us build a stronger future for our library system.
Your support grows our capacity to do more, from expanding programs to strengthening our endowment, so the Friends can serve our community for generations to come.

Annual Giving Levels
- The Helen Muir Circle - $2,500
- The Author's Circle - $5,000
- The Laureate Circle - $10,000
- The Legacy Society - $25,000
The Helen Muir Circle ($2,500)
- Annual recognition in the Friends annual report
- "Story Behind the Story," a members-only quarterly digital note showing specifically what your giving powered
- An annual members-only "Behind the Stacks" experience: a group tour of something the public rarely sees
- "First Look," advance notice of author events and programs before they're announced publicly
- Free ticket to the annual fundraiser
- A bookplate in the collection: your name placed in a set of newly acquired books
The Author's Circle ($5,000)
- Everything above, plus:
- A reserved invitation to an annual members' salon, a small gathering with a guest author or the library leadership
- "The Director's Shelf," an annual curated reading list from the library director, with a signed or specially selected book
- An annual "Dividend of Impact" report tailored to the Circle, naming concrete outputs (story times held, bookmobile stops funded, literacy kits distributed)
The Laureate Circle ($10,000)
- Everything above, plus:
- A small-group lunch or private salon each year with the Library Director and the Executive Director
- Named recognition on a signature program for the year
The Legacy Society ($25,000)
- Everything above, plus:
- Direct line to leadership and first invitation to shape new initiatives
- Be a judge at one of the annual design contests
- Inclusion on our Legacy Society Plaque hung prominently at the Main Library
- An exclusive after hours event at a select library branch, for up to 15 guests, with date and time scheduled by mutual agreement.
