The Giving Circle

The Muir Circle ($2,500)

  • Charter or annual recognition in the Friends annual report and on the donor wall at Main
  • "Story Behind the Story," a members-only digital note 3x/year
  • Annual members-only "Behind the Stacks" experience: a group tour of something the public rarely sees, such as the Vasari Project archives, the Romance Languages collection, or conservation areas
  • "First Look," advance digital notice of author events and programs before they're announced publicly

the Authors Circle ($5,000)

  • Everything above, plus:
  • Reserved invitation to an annual members' salon, a small gathering with a guest author or the library leadership
  • "The Director's Shelf," an annual curated reading list from the Library Director or library leadership, with a signed or specially selected book
  • An annual "Dividend of Impact" report tailored to the Circle, naming concrete outputs

the Laureate Circle ($10,000)

  • Everything above, plus:
  • A small-group lunch or private salon each year with the Library Director and the Executive Director
  • "Designate your impact": the option to direct your gift to a program or branch you care about,
  • Named recognition on a signature program for the year 

The Stoneman Society ($25,000)

  • Everything above, plus:
  • A leadership naming opportunity: lend their name to a program, a space, or the bookmobile for the year
  • An invitation to host a private after-hours gathering in a library space, the library providing the venue
  • Direct line to leadership and first invitation to shape new initiatives, positioning you as a principal partner rather than a donor
  • A meaningful one-time founding acknowledgment for charter members at this level
