Free Books for Your Facility, Programs, or Events

The Friends provides free books for nonprofits to keep and use in facilities, programs, and events. Build a waiting room library, classroom collection, shelter library, family reading area, or giveaway table. Availability varies, but we’ll work to match books to the ages, languages, and needs of those you serve.

Free Meeting & Event Space

Eligible nonprofits can reserve library meeting rooms and event spaces at no charge, based on availability.

Professional Development

Build staff skills with LinkedIn Learning courses covering business software, marketing, entrepreneurship, sales, and more.

Business & Nonprofit Research

Use Gale Business, Small Business Administration resources, and Florida SBDC tools to support planning, operations, and growth.

Grant & Funder Research

Access tools such as Candid/Foundation Directory Online and GuideStar to research funders, nonprofits, and grant opportunities.

Technology & Creative Spaces

Access YOUmedia Miami and YOUmake Miami spaces for classes, media production, design, podcasting, photography, sewing, VR, and other creative tools.

News & Market Research

Stay informed with access to major publications including The New York Times, The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, and The Wall Street Journal.

Library Card Sign-Ups

Connect your constituents with library cards so they can access books, digital materials, online learning tools, computers, and more.

Library Outreach at Your Events

Invite the Library’s dedicated outreach team to attend your community events, sign people up for library cards, and share available services.

Bookmobile & Technobus Visits

Bring library services directly to your facility or event through the Library’s mobile outreach fleet, including book checkout and returns, computers, internet access, and free printing.

Free Books for Facilities & Events

equest books your organization can keep for waiting rooms, classrooms, shelters, family reading areas, program spaces, or giveaway tables.

Classes & Lifelong Learning

Help constituents find free library classes, including adult learning, language learning, digital skills, and other educational opportunities.

Technology Access

Connect community members with computers, internet, printing, and digital tools available through local library branches and mobile outreach.
